Tarn
A Tarn is a small mountain loch or pool. They are often created when a natural dam is created called a moraine in an area dug out by glacial activity. The word Tarn is a derivation from the Norscan tjörn, meaning pond. This meaning may have come from migrations across the Dagda's Teeth from Orknejar.
