Caledonia is split into fifteen separate geographical regions. Each is an area of the country defined by the geographical devisions of rivers, mountains, forests, lochs and major roads. Each region has a defining character, Kataness is windswept and barren with the winds from the north whilst Aver Ghaidheal is heavilly populated and sheltered by both the Great Forest and the Western isles. These characteristics give a flavour of the area but do not mean that this is the end of the area's character. Below each of the regions is described with attention to the major flavour of it's environs. Additionally the settlements, circles and sites of interest are also listed.
