On the western coast of Caledonia, Morven is a large, ancient and heavily fortified city surrounded by a massive wall. Morven acts as a centre for commerce and trade for western Caledonia and the western isles. During the Formorian invasion of 1099-1100 Morven was bypassed by the invaders, but largely cut off from the rest of Caledonia for some months.
