Loch Tay Circle

Northern tip of Loch Tay, Central Caledonia

To the north west the land is steep wooded hills with more rolling open countryside to the south.

Large column like stones form an impressive circle on a small mound in the open land near the loch. The guardhouse is located some 50 yards to the east.

One of the more stable circles, it is known to originate from long before the cataclysm of water and possibly before the founding of the great library at Norhault. Records from the time of the cataclysm, although scarce, indicate that this circle was once one of the most powerful in Caledonia before it exploded particularly violently at that time.
